Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at  if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We offer a wide range of hats from American Hat Makers that are 100% wool.

Absolutely! If you fell in love with a hat, please do not hesitate to bring it to customize!

Depends on the booking but they can be 100% customizable.  We will bring all the goods needed to customize your special hats. Let us know if there is something specific you want to add and we can order that as well!

1. When storing hat, keep it away from direct sunlight as some item colors can fade.

2. Place it on a hook or crown down.

3. Hat brushing will keep the dirt and dust off. Brushing 1x a month will help keep it like new!

Here we'll walk you through the steps to getting a perfect fitting hat in no time. Remember to read carefully and follow our pro-tips to get the best results. Let's begin!

  1. First you'll need to grab a soft measuring tape or a piece of string and a measuring device like a ruler or firm tape measure.
  2. Then wrap the soft tape or loose string around your head where you want your hat to sit.
    1. We recommend about 1/4 to 1/2 inches above your ear and 3/4 to 1 inches above your brow line. *(see Figure A below)
    2. DON'T WRAP TOO TIGHTLY
      1. If you pull your tape or string too tightly you'll have a overly tight fitting hat, so leave a little breathing room
  3. With your finger, pinch and hold where the end of the soft measuring tape or string intersects with itself to mark your measurement.
  4. Now record your measurement!
    1. PRO TIP: Use centimeters because it is often more accurate than inches
    2. If you're using a string, run it along the length of your ruler as many times as necessary to get a complete measurement
  5. Measure again!
    1. Always measure at multiple times until you get the same measurement twice.
